The 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4×4 pickup is sound and roadworthy. The motor and transmission are reliable and time tested. Therefore, they are mechanically sound. The most serious flaw of these vehicles is rot that accompanies the rust. This can be quite serious especially over the rear wheel wells and undercarriage.
