2005 Kia Rio Review

The 2005 Kia Rio is a staple on the typical BHPH car lot. There is a good reason for this and that is cost. They are normally inexpensive for the dealer to acquire, but they also are a pretty good vehicle. They are easy to maintain and they are very good on gas. They aren’t luxury type vehicles, but they are sound transportation cars. They do have a rust problem that can be severe under the frame. Watch out and examine carefully.

Pros: Cost and gas savings

Cons: Rust can be severe

2002 Dodge Durango 4×4 Review

The 2002 Dodge Durango is a great 4×4 alternative to the much more pricey Ford Bronco and Chevy Blazer alternatives. They provide a great value for dollar spent. The biggest downside with these is the cost of fuel. The dollars that it takes to keep these on the road can be quite excessive at $4 per gallon. It can rot excessively around the fenders and and rear quarters.

Pros: You get a LOT for your money

Cons: Fuel consumption and rot issues

2003 Chevrolet Venture Review

The 2003 Chevy Venture is a great inexpensive minivan. They are not as popular as their counterparts, Chrysler Town and Country Ford Windstar, but they are just as reliable and roadworthy. You can a get a great deal on these. You get a lot for a little with this choice. Many are fully equipped with all the creature features anyone would want. They are a common choice on the typical BHPH car lot. However, they do have one major flaw. They can develop significant rust on the rockers panels So, check that out carefully. The rot can extend itself well into the undercarriage.

Pros: Reliability and great value for the money

Cons: Severe rot can develop particularly on the rockers
